Papa, I’ll Preach
It is time for the annual Young Christian Writing Awards. This year it will be held in the UK. The competition is open to anyone aged between 18 – 32. One of the candidates is Jennifer Abubakar Chumbio.
Jennifer has one published book of Christian fiction. Her main influence is her father and his work as a preacher. She inherited his gift of charisma with delivering god’s word in her own literary flair. Her work maintains all morals of the stories without boring the audience and successfully conveys the lessons of the word.
His ultimate dream was for his daughter to follow his footsteps in dedicating his life to spreading the word but he is happy about the turn that her life has taken. Jennifer Abubakar may not be on the pulpit but she might as well be with her literature. She has the same appeal as her father, it is effortless to maintain her firm grasp on her audience. She has already won one award similar to the Young Christian Awards and the fame brought by such recognition did not corrupt her. Along with her work as a missionary and her Christian fiction, she want to completely eliminate corruption and its vessels.
Winner of the Young Christian Writing Award will receive a significant book deal with a leading publisher and £10,000 in cash price.
